Removing the Shortcut Virus

The virus is a Script file that always runs in the background, so we are unable to delete it. But with these few steps, it will be gone for good.

Step 1: Open task Manager by right clicking on your taskbar. Select "Start Task Manager"

Step 2: Now click on "Processes".

Step 3: Now search for a process named- "wscript". Usually it will be in the end of the list.

Step 4: Now click on the process and then click "End Process".

Step 5: Now that the script is stopped, open your temp folder. You can open it by typing
            %temp% in your run box (Win key +R).

Step 6: Now delete the script file there. It can be of any name like Servieca ,etc.

And it's done..
